Here is a picture of the baby quilt I have been talking about getting done!! It's finally complete! I couldn't have finished it without the guidance of Nick's Aunt Charmaine!! Thank you so much for all your help and teaching me how to use my sewing machine!!! Bronson will love it and I can't wait for him to use it!!

Another thing to check off my list...

{My Check List}

I MADE IT, I AM FINALLY HOME...

I have been home since last Wednesday and I am loving every minute of it!! I have been running around like a crazy woman trying to make sure everything is ready to go and nothing is left undone! Now that I have accomplished almost everything on my list it is leaving me with much needed time for school, school, school i.e. Medical Transcription! (And no I don't consider the fact that I should be doing school right now instead of blogging... Procrastination! (But it sort of is!)

Here is my list of things to do, it always makes me feel good to see things checked off my list!

I have...

~Had all of my showers! (and THANK YOU so much to everyone that has helped out with your generosity, we really appreciate it!) CHECK

~Done all the rest of our shopping. CHECK

~Put together a temporary nursery (it looks pretty cute... but you probably would never think a little boy is coming home to it! That might have something to do with the pink strips on the wall. It's only temporary though, I'm not that mean of a mommy!) It will work for now but I can't wait to get his little sports room put together! CHECK

~Organized and washed all of his laundry. CHECK

~Put the diaper bag together. CHECK

And I still have to...

~Put together a hospital bag.

~Find newborn socks (any suggestions, I have had no luck!)

~Find a white beanie (again, any suggestions?)

~Make a baby quilt.

~Take my hospital tour.

~AND wait patiently for him to arrive!

{IT'S GETTING CLOSE...}

~Less than 2 weeks of work left... YaH!

~Almost 34 weeks along... 6 weeks to go...

~2 showers down & 2 to go...

~4 weeks of projects before the baby comes...

~LOTS & LOTS of school work...

AND ME AT 34 WEEKS...

I know our blog has been pretty boring lately and the posts are far and few between. We are busy getting things in order for the arrival of our little man and preparing for our big move (which is all very time consuming).... other than that not much else is going on with us!!

{Pregnancy Blues and THE CoUnTdOwN!}

I'm finally on the down slide to the very end!! ONLY 10 WEEKS LEFT!! I really can't wait to meet my little Bronson but I find it hard to believe that the next 10 weeks are going to be a breeze or even go by fast at all for that matter!

I am at the point where I am ready to be in cute clothes again, I am tired of being fat and really tired of being in pain (back and rib pain that is)! I was at the store the other day trying my best to find something cute to wear to make myself feel a little bit better. By the time I got home I was completely wiped out! It took everything out of me just to go to ONE store! What happened to all that energy I had just a little while ago? The 2nd trimester really is the best, and I'm sure most mommies would agree, but it just doesn't last long enough!!

Here are a few things that will hopefully make the time fly by and make my blues go away....

1. I can't wait for the month of September! I have all of my baby showers this month! We are lucky enough to have 4 of them! A work shower, family & friend shower, ward shower & another family shower in Arizona!

2. Our trip to Arizona... Nick loves road trips and I love going to Arizona!!

3. My last day of work... Sept 30! YaY!

4. Making a fleece blanket, baby quilt & an ABC picture book!

5. My doctor appointments starting to become bimonthly and then every week!

6. Working on my Medical Transcription Schooling for the month of October to hopefully be done before or just shortly after our little man gets here! (Not exciting but nice to finally have time to do it!)

7. Feeling him move around more and more everyday... and knowing that he is okay!

8. And of course... waking up each day knowing that we are one day closer to meeting our BaBy BoY!

{Pregnancy Picture Photoshot}

We have a pregnant trio in my family right now.... My sister-in-law Beth is due anytime now with a little boy (her first baby) and was not able to make it to our family get together in Texas this month {We missed you!}. My sister Krysta is due October 13th with a little girl (her fourth baby) and I am due November 4th with a boy (also my first)! We will be double the amount of grandkids in 3 months!!
Sorry mom... I'm sure we are a lot to handle all at once!!
While Nick and I were in Houston visiting my sister and her family we were lucky enough to have my fabulous sister take our pictures (she is a genius with the camera). I am so happy that we did them. We endured through the early morning heat + humidity and woke up at 5am just to make sure we had the right lighting! It was all worth it because they turned out amazing and I will cherish them forever! Thank you so much Krys for doing these for us!

{Kaylee's Baptism}

The Family... Grandparents, Aunt & Uncles

Nick and I were able to go to Houston to visit my sister and her family for a week. We had tons of fun celebrating birthdays (Happy Birthday... Kaylee, Drew, Brandon & Mom!) picking through baby clothes, eating yummy Texas food and very importantly being a part of my niece Kaylee's Baptism.
I have been to several Baptisms but there was something different about this one for me. Besides my own baptism, I have never experenced one with as much meaning as hers. I am sure I will be able to experence this time and time again as I am able to see my children and the rest of my nephews and nieces follow these very foot steps.
Seeing Kaylee be a part of this wonderful experence brought a whole new meaning and understanding to me about the importance of Baptism and each step thereafter that our Heavenly Father has set forth for us. I was so impressed with the spirt that were felt and I realized more then ever the importance of our Eternal Families. How important it is to keep the commandments and live worthy of these beautiful blessings to have the oppurtunity to take on your baptismal covenants and remain worthy to later be sealed to your families.
Thank you so much Kaylee for being such a good girl. You truly are an example to me and I am so proud of you! Your Uncle Nick and I are so glad that we were able to be a part of this wonderful experience with you. You are an amazing girl and don't every forget who you are and always know that we love you!

{FIVE YEARS &....}

FOREVER TO GO...

5 years ago today Nick & I began our life journey together! We meet one cold November night in the FABULOUS Logan, UT where I was attending Utah State University. He and I shared some mutual friends, my college friends & his mission friends... at this point we had no interest in one another and did not think anything of each other until we began to hang out more often. It was yet again another COLD night but this time it was in Salt Lake on NEW YEARS EVE. My friends and I thought it would be great to ring in the new year at his house where him and his mission friends bunked... little did they know we were there because they were in California. Surprise, Surprise... they did know we were there and they surprised us just before the dawn of NEW YEAR 2004! Nick, my friend Jenn & I stayed up to watch the sunrise the next morning, sharing laughs, funny stories and much more. It was then that I thought "this kid is pretty funny. He has a great sense of humor..." January 17th was our first date in Logan. We had a blast but I.... did NOT want a serious relationship! Little did I know that his leaving for California the next day for a week would make me rethink this decision... I will just say we were inseparable ever since....

and here we are just a short while after our fond discovery of one another...

JUNE 17TH, 2004

... a day I will always cherish...

Nick,

I love you so much. Thank you for all that you do for me and our expanding family. You are amazing and I could not ask for a better husband or someone that would suit me better then you. I enjoy all of our joking, laughs & love we share with one another. The hard times are what make me appreciate you even more. You are such a blessing to me and I thank you everyday for going through this journey with me.

Love always,
