{Just a Quick Update... No Pictures!}

Still Alive... once again!
In case anyone was worried we are still alive and still technically bloggers we (I should say "I") have just been out of the mode for awhile.... as you can see from my last few post!

We haven't had much going on in the last few month being the reason for no good posting!

This last weekend we were able to go to Vegas with some friends which was a blast but I have to be honest I can only take so much of that place, 2 days tops for me!! We went to see Criss Angels show and that is definatly something to see. If you don't know who he is he has the show on A&E called "Mind Freak". He does alot of crazy illusions. His show didn't have a ton of magic tricks but all together is was awesome. If you love the show "So You Think You Can Dance" you would absoloutly love his show!

This week we had the chance to visit with my sister and her family from Texas! It was great to see them and spend time with them. We are going to Houston to visit them in July for the first time and my niece is getting baptised! We couldn't be more excited!

But... the big news around our home is that our house is now on the market! Yep we are trying to sell in this crazy market! More news to come! Hopefully good news!!

I will do a Vegas post soon!

{Our Trip to Niagra Falls}

Warning...
{Lots of Picture, Lots of Scrolling}

This is called "Maid of the Mist" They actually take you right under the falls and let you sit for about 5 minutes or so while the boat turns itself around! You definitely get wet!
View from under the falls
Nick standing in front of the one of the oldest golf courses!
My poor shoe, I was warned not to wear heels on the day we did our tours but I don't ever listen so if you know me you know I can't go anywhere with out my high heels!
The Falls

Nick & I on the White Water Walk {Where my shoe never failed to get stuck}
I have a very funny video of me getting mad about it that I didn't know Nick was filming but it is a little embarrassing so I won't post that!

My new favorite place to eat... to bad it's in Michigan!
The Butterfly Conservatory
Very cool, but very hot. I had one land on my head but Nick was too far away to take a picture.
This one is for Nick, he thought this one looked cool.

These were at the Botanical Gardens, I've never been but they were awesome.
Where is "Waldo"? Can anyone find Nick?
It was a great trip something that Nick put together for my birthday. Thank you! We stayed in a Bed N Breakfast which I have never stayed in before. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed or on that good of a pillow and I thought our bed was great! Needless to say it was hard to sleep the first night home... much better after the first night! It was a great trip though and my first time out of the states if unless you consider crossing the Mexico border when I was a baby, I don't!

{Detroit, Michigan}

The Zoo

We got to go to the ZOO. This is one of Nick's favorite activities he is like a little boy in a candy store when he gets to go to the Zoo, it's great! It was a really cool zoo very green and pretty!

Nick won - Lindsey zero!

Nick & I went miniture golfing and either I am really bad or it just wasn't my day. I'm going to go with "it just wasn't my day!" Nick is so sweet he kept reminding me that I KICKED HIS BUTT last time we miniture golfed together in Dallas! I have to rub it in when I do win because it isn't often that I beat my husband in much. I'll give it to him this time... HE ROCKED!

Detroit, Michigan Temple

Nick & I were driving to get breakfast on Saturday morning admiring the area and getting familar with what is around when low and behold we randomly pass the Detroit Temple. Okay it is totally one thing to be in a highly populated LDS area and just pass temples like you do church houses but there is was...the Temple. So of course we had to stop and see what it was all about. It was beautiful!

{Our Trip to St. George}

The weekend after our anniversary my work sent us to our newest resort in St George. It was a really nice get away and fair warning there are a ton of pictures!! I love it because Nick always laughs at me when I do such a big post with tons of pictures. I figure though I love it when people do a post with tons of pictures so I would do the same! I hope you all enjoy looking at them!
The resort that we stayed at was really nice they are brand new townhouse's 3 bedroom 2 bath, luxury! However, I realized I never got any pictures of the actual unit itself but this is a pond right behind our unit that the state stocks full of fish at all times. We got to go fishing a few times when we were there. Nick loved it and I actually had fun with it too. I never caught anything but it was fun to try!
This was the coolest petting farm/souvenir shop in a town called Virgin, UT.
What a convenient name!!!

The guy that work in the store was definitly a unique guy and he totally laughed at me when this city girl walks into his store in the country with heels on. Needless to say I thought I would survive in them until we decided to go into the petting zoo. I broke in and decided to put my crocs back on!

This was the craziest thing ever... on the way out of Zions we were stopped in traffic for about 45 minutes. Obviously for a good reason based on the fire. The whole time we were never sure what was actually on fire until we drove by....

A MELTED SEMI!
THIS WAS NICK'S GUESS EVEN BEFORE WE DROVE BY!!
What a smart guy!!
After the drama of that we stopped at this awesome diner.
They raised their own Elk to kill and make yummy food for their customers!
That is some serious dedication!

I wish this was a better picture but it was even very unique on the inside! I love it!
They had a lot of fun quotes on walls we pretty much sat there the whole time pointing out all the the different ones that we saw.
ZION'S NATIONAL PARK
...has horse back riding, how awesome!
Unfortunately we didn't get to ride them so instead we just hung out with then for awhile while we cooled off in the shade!

Last but not least the other thing that we loved to do while in St George was hang out at the pool. Our friends Jeff & Candice came with us, it was fun to have their babies there to entertain all of us. The girls were so good they liked having their little feet in the water and of course sleep in their car seats in the shade!

{My Trip to Phoenix}

Aren't these pictures gorgeous?

I absolutely LOVE Arizona! I had the chance to stay in Phoenix for 6 days with my family it was a blast except we had no time, I forgot to take pictures!! The best I could do was find some on the internet! We had a family wedding and got to visit with all the family. We also searched up and down for houses for my parents! We had a good time and I miss my family already!
